HD_Speed is a really reliable tool to measure the working speed of your hard drive. The program works with any type of storage drive (CDs, DVDs, disc drive...) and supports NTFS and FAT32 formats for hard drives.

To use HD_Speed you just select the drive you want to measure, and you can see in real time the speed of reading and writing, with detailed graphcs and statistics, the actual transfer rate and the promised rate, the block size, etc.

HD_Speed is a very useful tool if, for example, you have doubts about which of your drives to install Windows in, or also to see the speed curves and detect when your drive is working at full speed (DVD, CD...), and also if it works consistently at this speed.
